Assessment of Potential Business Opportunities

Conducting desk research on the potential business opportunities for the Port of Aqaba and the Aqaba Special Economic Zone, in light of the lifting of the economic sanctions on Iraq. Research includes Jordan’s trade (with a special emphasis on trade with Iraq); Port of Aqaba activity; data on port charges (rates and tariffs for clearance, handling, logistics and freight forwarding to Iraq); Port specifications and features. This project also includes conducting interviews with firm owners, doing and/or pursuing business with Iraq.
