GAC, MEDA/JVL – Business Development Training Support to selected partners of the Jordan Valley Links project (2019 – 2020)

Al Jidara partnered with the Jordan Valley Links (JVL) project, funded by the Canadian government and executed by MEDA, to empower women and youth entrepreneurs in the Jordan Valley. They closely collaborated with project partners, including the Clean Technology Consortium and the National Association for Family Empowerment (NAFE), to strengthen their capacity-building initiatives. Al Jidara conducted comprehensive assessments, designed customized training programs, and provided mentoring to beneficiaries. For GreenTech beneficiaries, they delivered advanced sales and marketing training, while for NAFE, they offered hub management and crisis management training with a strong emphasis on networking, referrals, and linkages.
Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19, Al Jidara's adaptable approach ensured the success of these endeavors, resulting in the establishment and expansion of numerous businesses. These efforts not only enhanced competence development and self-confidence among beneficiaries but also facilitated crucial networking opportunities for sustainable growth.
