ILO – Reviewing the ETVET Sector Performance Assessment System (2013 – 2014)

Al Jidara conducted a thorough evaluation of the E-TVET sector's performance assessment system with the overarching goal of enhancing the reporting mechanism for sector performance. The primary objectives included providing support for decision-making within each sector institution and facilitating informed policy-making and prioritization at the E-TVET Council. The assessment methodology employed a participatory approach, complemented by expert input aligning with international best practices, including references to the Global Talent Competitiveness Index (GTCI) and The World Bank Handbook on Results-Based Monitoring and Evaluation System.
Grounded in the insights derived from the National Employment Strategy, the assessment yielded recommendations for refining the performance assessment system and delineated specific capacity-building activities necessary to enhance reporting capabilities across sector institutions. This meticulous process aimed to fortify the effectiveness and efficiency of the E-TVET sector's performance evaluation, contributing to informed decision-making and strategic planning.
