Organizational Effectiveness

Al Jidara played a pivotal role in assisting the Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) with a comprehensive organizational development initiative, with a strong focus on enhancing human resources (HR) management strategies. Their involvement encompassed conducting a thorough evaluation of JTB's organizational structure, departments, staff roles, HR management functions, performance assessment mechanisms, and monitoring and evaluation systems. They designed a new organizational structure tailored to meet functional needs, along with creating and updating job descriptions to align with this structure. Additionally, Al Jidara proposed improvements to JTB's internal policies, instructions, and by-laws pertaining to HR management, as well as performance management and monitoring and evaluation functions.

The aim was to enable JTB to align its HR strategies with a new strategic direction outlined in their marketing strategy. Al Jidara's contributions included conducting in-depth functional analysis to define necessary positions within the organization, developing comprehensive job descriptions for each position, establishing a clear job hierarchy to foster career development, implementing a career development plan, identifying training needs and formulating an annual training plan, assessing JTB's HR management and development functions, and crafting a comprehensive manual for HRM policies. Altogether, Al Jidara's role was instrumental in strengthening JTB's organizational structure and HR strategies, enabling them to better pursue their strategic objectives.
