Prepared a standardized SME definition that was appropriate for Jordan through researching the market of available Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) definitions and comparing them to best practices and definitions used by internationally recognized institutions. This was followed by thoroughly reviewing country-specific definitions, particularly those with similar economic and business structures to Jordan, and analyzing the local SME sector and be more able to set reasonable criteria for the preparation of a booklet for SME definition.
