Develop a 3-Year Development Strategy for Sweimeh

Formulated a three-year development strategy for the Sweimeh Village in order to enable and empower the local community to participate in development and maximize the gains from the Dead Sea Development Zone.

The strategy was an outcome of a workshop held with representatives of the various NGOs, public sector institutions, and private sector institutions of relevance to the Dead Sea and Sweimeh area. The purpose of the workshop was to brainstorm short and long-term objectives for Sweimeh and suggest programs or projects to help achieve these objectives. The Sweimeh Local Economic Development Strategy revolved around three pillars: Employability, Income generating activities, and Local governance.
