Karak and Irbid Economic Baselines

Collected and analyzed available economic and demographic data on the Governorates of Karak and Irbid. Information included data related to the history, geography, employment, education and skill levels, and main sectors of the regional economy, business environment and overall investment climate. Also, obtained the comments and perceptions of business leaders in the regions, and conducted a SWOT analysis of the regional economies. Information was compiled into benchmark reports to serve as the point of reference that would enable SABEQ and other stakeholders to evaluate local economic development.
