Modifications to the SOHO business licensing legislation and proposed SOHO model and system

Assisted the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) in developing a regulatory framework to legalize businesses operating from home in an effort to promote legal operation and support startups and businesses with special needs. Through consultations with GAM’s counterpart team and cooperation of stakeholders, specific instructions were drafted outlining the necessary elements and conditions that were based on best practices, but within the Jordanian context. The instructions also adopted a -no-impact- concept to maintain the residential character and quality of life.
