Streamline Environmental Licensing Procedures at MOE

Supported the Ministry of Environment (MoEnv) in developing and implementing an integrated environmental licensing system that is linked with the inspection and enforcement system and other relevant systems at the MoEnv. This required establishing a clear and concise understanding of the current licensing/permitting process and its legal mandate by capturing and documenting the current environmental licensing/permitting process implemented by the licensing department at MoEnv. The assignment also demanded identifying the constraints that prevented the environmental licensing department at the MoEnv from implementing the recommendations of previous capacity building projects provided by the EU or the World Bank.
